A unique blend of the old and the new. The building was once a FISH PLACE……or as is commonly known Long John Silvers. The building has been spruced up and is now warm and welcoming.

The view from the hill overlooking Hwy. 515 is of the mountains and the huge American flag across the highway. Beautiful.

Guests are greeted by a large stone featuring the TEN COMMANDMENTS. The partners share a love for friends, family and Jesus Christ. It is obvious as you spend time in the Blackberry Ridge Eatery. Bible verses and beautiful memories of their life adorn the walls.

The food is a good variety of country cooking and classic dishes . My favorite is the meatloaf and of course turnip greens. Cornbread salad is also among my favorite items.

Desserts are baked on site . Buttermilk pie is probably the most popular.

The atmosphere, the food and the friendly folks make this one of my favorite.

The co owners have overcome many battles as their tiny restaurant began its life. Chris is battling and beating cancer and Pam is on her way to recovery from several weeks in the hospital. The spirit they share is wonderful and together they continue to offer good food, casual dining and a home town feel that welcomes you each time you visit the Blackberry Ridge Eatery.

A visit to Blue Ridge wouldn’t be complete without a stop at this little piece of heaven.

Located on Hwy. 515 just behind the Conoco gas station on the ridge…….. the name Blackberry Ridge comes from the stories about folks picking berries there many years ago.

Be sure and try the Blackberry pie with ice cream.
